the days are coming together

after about a month of vacation time (glorious days!) we are on the last legs of no-school days. where have they gone?!? time flies by so fast...

in less than a month, we will be opening our doors to students for the beginning of the new school year. (god help us all!) the return of the brats!

here come the days of the cry-babies, parents and kids alike. sometimes i wonder of kindergarten cop's military technique really does work. with the whistle and all... maybe i'll try it out this year, on the parents.

but even through the summer, i wasn't able to forget, for 1 second, that i was a teacher. imagine, walking in the mall with your friends, browsing among the stores. suddenly, from 2 stories up, hanging on the railing, a little girl screams at the top of her lugs, "TEACHER KATHY!TEACHER KATHY!TEACHER KATHY!" of course, sound carries in air conditioned malls. (augh!)

i wonder what kind os kids i'll have this year...
